Katie and John were married at the beautiful chapel at Milton Ridge on 10.16.10. I loved this couple! They are super creative and just so much fun. Katie and John opted to see each other before the ceremony to get all of the pictures done ahead of time. It seems to be a decision that couples go back and forth on but when they decide to do it, they don’t regret the decision. Getting the pictures done before the ceremony makes for such a relaxed environment after the ceremony. It also gives us more time to be creative with the images. I love seeing all of the different ideas that couples have for their weddings and Katie and John did an amazing job on theirs. They had the most creative program that they designed themselves. The ring was held in a very cool book that when opened had a little secret cut out area containing the rings and a special keepsake. The best man wasn’t a man at all
it was Johns best childhood friend that happens to be a woman. When you look at the pictures of this wedding you can see the love but, you can also see so much fun. Take a look at John’s shoes. Patient leather Sneakers…SO COOL! and fun. Congratulations you two!

Wednesday, October 20th, 2010Maryland Engagement Session-Jennifer and Jesse
Wednesday, October 20th, 2010Jennifer and Jesse met at Barnes and Nobel so how fun was it that we added that special place to our engagement shoot. It is always fun when a couple has a special place in mind that has history and meaning in their relationship. Engagement sessions are a great way for you to met your photographer before your wedding at Milton Ridge. You will start to become more comfortable with your posing and you interactions in front of the camera and it in turn helps a lot on your wedding day. Getting to know your photographer, can make shooting with them on the wedding day even more fun. Congratulations J and J!

Friday, October 15th, 2010What a day to be married at Milton Ridge -10.10.10. This wedding had it all. Beautiful royal blue dresses and shoes that pop. Wedding rings that took my breath away. A simply beautiful and elegant layout and decor choice for the reception hall and perfect food. Two Military Officers that were just meant to be. To top off the day, we had a little sprinkle and a double rainbow. Just BEAUTIFUL.

Tuesday, October 12th, 2010Milton Ridge Wedding- Holly and Jorge 10.8.10
Sunday, October 10th, 2010Hello all!
Ok so it’s been a few weeks since our last post..but… that is only because Milton Ridge is so blessed to be busy with so many brides. October has been a wonderful month. Holly and Jorge were married on 10.8.10 at Milton Ridge. Holly had a beautiful white dress and her accents were red roses. Her brides maids wore pretty black dresses. I loved the classic red, white, and black look of everything pulled together. Jorge had an old fashion look right on down to a pocket watch on a chain. VERY COOL. All of the groomsmen got into the look and we had some fun shooting later in the evening. Very old time gangster looking. Thanks guys for the fun! Thank you to you both for sharing your day with us here at Milton Ridge and congratulations. xo Amy
