Teneall and Jason had a fun engagement photo session in Harpers Ferry and just had their wedding at Milton Ridge. The decor was very cool! Old Hollywood was the theme and purple was the color. Each table had glittery items and a black and white old photo of Hollywood actors and musicians. Every detail had a flair about it. There were feathers and crystals and the reception hall looked amazing. I had a lot of fun at this wedding! I LOVE old Hollywood so this was very cool for me. Teneall looked so pretty in her dress and she added a bit of extra flair with her purple shoes. I love it when brides play with colorful embellishments and accessories. Her bouquet complimented her entire theme with beautiful white and purple flowers, feathers, and little crystals. Teneall and Jason’s wedding is such a perfect example of how Milton Ridges reception hall can be transformed to accommodated each brides perfect wedding plan.

Milton Ridge Weddings- Teneall and Jason
Thursday, October 21st, 2010Jennifer and Jesse Marry at Milton Ridge
Wednesday, October 20th, 2010I met Jennifer and Jesse for their engagement shoot in October and knew that they were a very sweet couple. They married at Milton Ridge on 10.16.10 surrounded by their family and friends. Jennifer’s bridesmaids wore bright red dresses and carried a mixture of purple, red, and white flowers. This bright and beautiful daytime wedding at Milton Ridge was just perfect, warm, and sunny. The little flower girl at this wedding was just adorable. Her reception hall set up was very simply elegant. Congratulations Jennifer and Jesse! Wish you both many years of happiness!
A Milton Ridge Wedding for Katie and John 10.16.10
Wednesday, October 20th, 2010Katie and John were married at the beautiful chapel at Milton Ridge on 10.16.10. I loved this couple! They are super creative and just so much fun. Katie and John opted to see each other before the ceremony to get all of the pictures done ahead of time. It seems to be a decision that couples go back and forth on but when they decide to do it, they don’t regret the decision. Getting the pictures done before the ceremony makes for such a relaxed environment after the ceremony. It also gives us more time to be creative with the images. I love seeing all of the different ideas that couples have for their weddings and Katie and John did an amazing job on theirs. They had the most creative program that they designed themselves. The ring was held in a very cool book that when opened had a little secret cut out area containing the rings and a special keepsake. The best man wasn’t a man at all
it was Johns best childhood friend that happens to be a woman. When you look at the pictures of this wedding you can see the love but, you can also see so much fun. Take a look at John’s shoes. Patient leather Sneakers…SO COOL! and fun. Congratulations you two!

Maryland Wedding Venue – Laura and Michael 9.18.10
Wednesday, October 6th, 2010Laura and Michael..wow.. I had so much fun with the two of you! You could see the love and feel the love and I was just happy to be there with the both of you. Milton Ridge was just gleaming on September 18th. Laura and Mike were married at our historic wedding chapel and then moved into the reception hall for their fun. I have to say…WHAT A GOOD LOOKING BUNCH. The bridal party was full of beautiful people and Mike and Laura were leading the group. I really didn’t want to stop shooting this pair. The bridal party wore beautiful green gowns that were just highlighted with the vibrant orange flowers they carried. I absolutely love it when a bride and groom plan ahead and decide to do the portraits before the wedding. It just makes for such a relaxing day. We took our time and took all of our portraits before the perfect couple walked down the isle. It really does allow me as the photographer to get creative with the couple without stressing over hurrying everyone along. Laura returned to the bridal cottage for some Mountain Dew and chips and Mike relaxed in the loft of the church. After the ceremony the entire bridal party was able to just go and relax in the cottage before heading up to the reception hall for mingling with the guests. From funny toasts to crazy dance shows, this wedding reception had it all. I had a blast the entire day! Oh my…and I almost forgot about the cupcakes…WOW. Before leaving, Mike handed me a pomegranate cupcake with champagne icing. I have never had anything like it. YUM! Thank you Laura and Mike for such a wonderful day and thank you for including Milton Ridge in your special day.
