Shelley and Chris – A Milton Ridge Wedding

Wednesday, November 10th, 2010

Shelley and Chris were married on 10.20.10.  Surrounded by family and friends.  Shelley was just so beautiful.  The grounds of Milton Ridge looked beautiful this fall and we got some great pictures of the perfect couple.  I loved the wedding dress and how Shelley had pockets in it.  Pretty neat!  The Milton Ridge reception hall was decorated in soft silver colors with purple accents.  I loved her polka dot cake and the memories on each table.  Shelley and Chris also opted to give to charity as their favors which I thought was really neat.  It shows what a loving giving couple they are.  Congratulations Shelley and Chris!

Cheryl & Jeremy – Memorable moments at Milton Ridge

Thursday, October 28th, 2010

Cheryl and Jeremy were married at Milton Ridge on October 23rd.  Cheryl and Jeremy had some fun with me in Baltimore for their engagement session and I was excited to see them again.  So many fun moments at this wedding!  From the family traditions to the vintage car, to the log cutting outside the church, this wedding had it all.  Oh and the candy bar was AMAZING :) Congratulations C and J!

Maryland Engagement Session-Jennifer and Jesse

Wednesday, October 20th, 2010

Jennifer and Jesse met at Barnes and Nobel so how fun was it that we added that special place to our engagement shoot.  It is always fun when a couple has a special place in mind that has history and meaning in their relationship.  Engagement sessions are a great way for you to met your photographer before your wedding at Milton Ridge.  You will start to become more comfortable with your posing and you interactions in front of the camera and it in turn helps a lot on your wedding day.  Getting to know your photographer, can make shooting with them on the wedding day even more fun.   Congratulations J and J!

Milton Ridge Wedding- Holly and Jorge 10.8.10

Sunday, October 10th, 2010

Hello all! :) Ok so it’s been a few weeks since our last post..but… that is only because Milton Ridge is so blessed to be busy with so many brides. October has been a wonderful month. Holly and Jorge were married on 10.8.10 at Milton Ridge. Holly had a beautiful white dress and her accents were red roses. Her brides maids wore pretty black dresses. I loved the classic red, white, and black look of everything pulled together. Jorge had an old fashion look right on down to a pocket watch on a chain. VERY COOL. All of the groomsmen got into the look and we had some fun shooting later in the evening. Very old time gangster looking. Thanks guys for the fun! Thank you to you both for sharing your day with us here at Milton Ridge and congratulations. xo Amy

Maryland Wedding Venue – Laura and Michael 9.18.10

Wednesday, October 6th, 2010

Laura and Michael..wow.. I had so much fun with the two of you! You could see the love and feel the love and I was just happy to be there with the both of you. Milton Ridge was just gleaming on September 18th. Laura and Mike were married at our historic wedding chapel and then moved into the reception hall for their fun. I have to say…WHAT A GOOD LOOKING BUNCH. The bridal party was full of beautiful people and Mike and Laura were leading the group. I really didn’t want to stop shooting this pair. The bridal party wore beautiful green gowns that were just highlighted with the vibrant orange flowers they carried. I absolutely love it when a bride and groom plan ahead and decide to do the portraits before the wedding. It just makes for such a relaxing day. We took our time and took all of our portraits before the perfect couple walked down the isle. It really does allow me as the photographer to get creative with the couple without stressing over hurrying everyone along. Laura returned to the bridal cottage for some Mountain Dew and chips and Mike relaxed in the loft of the church. After the ceremony the entire bridal party was able to just go and relax in the cottage before heading up to the reception hall for mingling with the guests. From funny toasts to crazy dance shows, this wedding reception had it all. I had a blast the entire day! Oh my…and I almost forgot about the cupcakes…WOW. Before leaving, Mike handed me a pomegranate cupcake with champagne icing. I have never had anything like it. YUM! Thank you Laura and Mike for such a wonderful day and thank you for including Milton Ridge in your special day.
