Sarah and Tim 11.20.10

Wednesday, December 15th, 2010

I first met Sarah and Tim in North Carolina where we met up to shoot some engagement photos.  I think it was the hottest day of the year.  We had a great time and it was great to get to know them.  On the wedding day at Milton Ridge, it was far from the hottest day of the year but it was still a very nice day.  The sky was so blue and gave us a great backdrop for the beautiful and charming Historic Chapel. Congratulations Sarah and Tim!

Sarah-Ann and David – A Wedding Story at Milton Ridge

Monday, November 15th, 2010

Sarah-Ann and David were married at Milton Ridge on 11.7.10.  Sarah-Ann was just a stunning bride.  She is such a kind spirit and I really enjoyed meeting her.  We forget the power of a little note and Sarah-Ann sent me a well appreciated thank you note.  They were both SO relaxed and calm.  Even with the chill outside and the leaves off the trees, Sarah-Ann pulled off this grace and beauty while doing her bridal shots outside around the grounds.  Thank you both for sharing you special day with all of us at Milton Ridge!

Anna and Charlie – A Milton Ridge Historic Chapel Wedding

Thursday, October 28th, 2010

Anna and Charlie are a neat couple.  I have a soft spot for firefighters and all the hard work they put into keeping people safe and alive.  I always feel fortunate when I can provide a service to them.   Instead of a guestbook Anna and Charlie had a firefighters helmet for everyone to sign which I thought was very cool!  Anna was also very thoughtful.  She had flip flops for all the poor ladies who would be wearing heels so that they could be comfortable on the dance floor.  I wanted to wear a pair! Thank you for sharing your day with us here at Milton Ridge Charlie and Anna.  Wishing you much happiness.

Jennifer and Jesse Marry at Milton Ridge

Wednesday, October 20th, 2010

I met Jennifer and Jesse for their engagement shoot in October and knew that they were a very sweet couple.  They married at Milton Ridge on 10.16.10 surrounded by their family and friends.  Jennifer’s bridesmaids wore bright red dresses and carried a mixture of purple, red, and white flowers.  This bright and beautiful daytime wedding at Milton Ridge was just perfect, warm, and sunny.  The little flower girl at this wedding was just adorable.  Her reception hall set up was very simply elegant.  Congratulations Jennifer and Jesse!  Wish you both many years of happiness!

A Milton Ridge Wedding for Katie and John 10.16.10

Wednesday, October 20th, 2010

Katie and John were married at the beautiful chapel at Milton Ridge on 10.16.10.  I loved this couple!  They are super creative and just so much fun.  Katie and John opted to see each other before the ceremony to get all of the pictures done ahead of time.  It seems to be a decision that couples go back and forth on but when they decide to do it, they don’t regret the decision. Getting the pictures done before the ceremony makes for such a relaxed environment after the ceremony.  It also gives us more time to be creative with the images.  I love seeing all of the different ideas that couples have for their weddings and Katie and John did an amazing job on theirs.  They had the most creative program that they designed themselves.  The ring was held in a very cool book that when opened had a little secret cut out area containing the rings and a special keepsake.  The best man wasn’t a man at all :)  it was Johns best childhood friend that happens to be a woman.  When you look at the pictures of this wedding you can see the love but, you can also see so much fun.  Take a look at John’s shoes.  Patient leather Sneakers…SO COOL! and fun.  Congratulations you two!
